Our visit with Santa over the weekend has definitely put us into the Christmas spirit early. I have to admit that one of the long list of reasons that I love the holiday season is there are so many fun crafts & activities. I am looking forward to baking gingerbread and making Christmas ornaments for our tree. I have a long list of things on our to-do list this winter. I cannot wait to share all of these marvelous things with our little girl.

Over the weekend we made hand prints. We have done them for crafts many times & now my daughter just likes to make them just because they are fun. I had a pile of them lying around & was about to toss them into the recycling, but as I hate to throw anything away, I needed to find a use for them.

Paper Plate & Hand print Wreath

What you will need:

Paper plate

Red & green Paint

Craft pom poms

Hand prints

Pipe cleaner or string

Glue

Directions:

Have your child dip their hands into red paint & press them onto a sheet of white paper. Let dry & then cut out the hand prints.

Dab a bit of glue on your plate & add a colored pom pom. Continue this process around the whole wreath.

Use a hole puncher to poke a hole at the top of the wreath. Run a string or pipe cleaner through the hole & hang.
