For those of you crafty bloggers that aren’t using Pinterest to gain traffic, it is time to start using it. Believe me, it does drive traffic. I am a fairly new blogger. I have only been at this for 2 1/2 months, so I am not a blogging expert, but the one thing I do know is when I pin a post that people like, my blog views sky rocket.
Here are my top pins of 2013…
From ‘Mommy’s Night Out’ This has had the single most re-pins from one board with 824. http://www.pinterest.com/pin/242631498649108597/

From the post ‘Should We or Shouldn’t We’ Incidentally, this post got me the most views in one day with close to 400 views of just this post in a single day. This may not be a lot for many of you, but to a new blogger, it was amazing. http://www.pinterest.com/pin/533887730797780939/

I totally love Pinterest and also learned quickly that Pinterest is the place to be for bloggers. Loved also getting to see a look back on your posts from last year that were popular. A few I definitely remember, but since we started following each other later in the year, I was happy to see some I knew and learn from others I didn’t yet read. Thanks for sharing!! 🙂
I love Pinterest anyway, if you couldn’t tell from my name. The fact that it has been very helpful in driving traffic is just a bonus. Thank you as always Janine. I am glad to have met you through here.
I really enjoyed reading your post. I admire how far you’ve come in so little time. I have been struggling to drive traffic to my blog since I started in October, and it’s been quite a struggle. I write about my experience with my highly sensitive child, so there’s not for pinning, although I know how effective Pinterest can be. I wonder every day how I might be able to use it better.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Leila. I am still learning as I go. I started in October too. I am one of your followers & think that you have great posts about your family. Those are a little trickier on Pinterest, but still do-able. There are a lot of people that pin or at least click through on parenting advice. I noticed you had a post on potty training for example. I have seen several pins about this pinned & repinned. Facebook helps a lot too with the more personal stories. Friends & family tend to click through to these.
Thanks for the tips! I will definitely give this some more thought. Have a great weekend!
How fun! Those Oreo Cheesecake Cupcakes look amazing! I think I’ll pin!
They are a sure fire hit. I have made them for many parties. They are yum & look beautiful.
how fun 🙂
Love the pins! I see why they were pinned a bunch! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Cindy.
I see why they were so popular, they are all either very cute or useful and some yum 🙂
Thank you, Petro. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Love this post! I guess I will try with Pinterest…
Pinterest is fabulous. Definitely give it a try.
Love the Oreo Recipe, my son said: Mom, this looks delish, let’s try! 🙂 I can see why they had a high amount of repins! Thank you for sharing them!
Thank you for dropping in. I highly recommend the Oreo cupcakes. They are wonderful.
The chicken enchilada spaghetti looks delicious. I can see what it was pinned so much. I’ll have to check out the official post for the recipe.
Thank you, Ashley. It is very good & it is healthy too.
Those are all great pins!! I love the oreo cupcake! I might have to make those for my sons birthday 🙂
